As a veteran counselor, I have worked with well over a thousand clients with disabilities. I have gained an intimate knowledge of disabilities as well as the impact upon the individuals. The book describes the mandated States' VR system, and those resources used to provide financial supports to retrain, re-educate and rehabilitate the clients. You will find many examples of case studies, interviews, and observations that include counseling techniques, and out-of-the-box solutions to barriers and vocational placement.
