About the Author

Jeffrey L. Helms is Professor of Psychology at Kennesaw State University where he joined the faculty in 2003. He holds licensure as a psychologist in Georgia and Hawaii and maintains a private clinical and consulting practice where he works predominantly with undergraduate and graduate students, people who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ communities, and other healthcare professionals.

Daniel T. Rogers is Professor of Psychology at Kennesaw State University where he joined the faculty in 2005. His research interests are in the areas of assessment and scale development pertaining to such factors as interpersonal functioning, student-teacher alliance, and teaching styles. His clinical experience includes work across the age spectrum and across levels of impairment, with emphasis on psychological assessment and psychodynamic interventions in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.
